There's No Place Like Home

We had another party in February. This one was themed, " There's No Place Like Home." We had about 22 people. The last guests left at 2:30. I'd call that a success.

Everyone had to bring a comfort food that reminded them of their childhood. We played two fun games: name this famous house and a Family Feud style game about America and Germany.

Then we had an action game. Each station in the game were all things I hated doing around my home. First they had to change the batteries on two of Abby's large plastic toys. Then they had to change diapers (one handed!). Lastly, they had to put together two of Abby's puzzles. The two teams raced at the same time -- men versus women. It got pretty chaotic, but the women came through at the end.

So much fun!

Thomas is the diapering master, which is only suitable because they have eight children.

Susanne brought cupcakes, of course!

It was so much fun to see them scrambling to put the puzzles together. I have a passion for puzzles, just like Abby.
